AOGEA Michigan Chapter is the local chapter of AOGEA (Association of Open Group Enterprise Architects) for Michigan area. Suresh Done, President, SNA Technologies is the Co-Founder and Chairman of AOGEA Michigan Chapter since its inception. Suresh Done, through his thought leadership led the chapter to a high successful one making it the largest AOGEA chapter in the world.

About AOGEA Michigan Chapter

AOGEA Michigan Chapter is a local Chapter of AOGEA (Association of OpenGroup Enterprise Architects). The purpose of this chapter is to be a forum to share the knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and to promote the profession of Enterprise Architect.
AOGEA Michigan Chapter is a non-profit extension of AOGEA and is governed by the AOGEA Bylaws.

Vision
To be a successful AOGEA Chapter, that will elevate the knowledge and expertise of the members; will also improve the Enterprise Architecture profession in Michigan

Mission

To share the knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and industry best practices
To continue awareness of The Open Group activities and grow membership by promoting The Open Group
To facilitate the networking between EA professionals in Michigan and facilitate the career improvement of the members
To facilitate discussion, debate, and dialogue over the industry problems in Enterprise Architecture, especially the application of TOGAF in the industry
To understand business, technology, social, and cultural trends that impact Enterprise Architecture

Collaboration with Academic Institutes
AOGEA Michigan Chapter is collaborating with some Academic Institutes like Lawrence Tech University on the research activities that are under going in some of the Working groups of the Chapter.
